James N. Watson

     

    James N. Watson, age 76, of Berlin, died peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.

     

    James was born August 14, 1936 in Toledo, OH, the son of William Shue and Vivian Watson.He honorably served in the U. S. Army from Dec. 1958 – January 1964. He was employed at Berlin Foundry as an iron pourer. James was a former member of O’Conner-Chiers American Legion Post 340 and the Old Timers of Berlin Foundry. He lived for his grandchildren. James enjoyed hunting
    and fishing, was a John Wayne fan, loved eagles, and you could always find his dog, Little Cinnamon, by his side.

     

    James is survived by his longtime companion, Marcella Putzkie; two sons, Kevin Watson and Keith
    Watson; his grandchildren; Marcella’s daughters, Valeria (Douglas) Scheuers and Victoria (Mark)
    Arnett;

    Marcella’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ryan Verburgt, Matthew (Tera) Scheuers,
    Ashley (Shawn) Winkler, Krystal Klaft, Shawna and Ashlyn Winkler, and Taylyn and Tenley Scheuers.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.

     

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel, the
    Rev. Scott Piper officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday from 10:00 a.m.
    to 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in Marion Cemetery at a later date.
