Lori Ann Simson, age 43, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

 

Lori was born April 22, 1967 in Waupun, the daughter of Bruce and Shirley Schouten Weinkauf.  On September 14, 1996, she was united in marriage to Emil Simson at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater.

 

She worked at Diverse Options in Ripon for 10 years and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon.

 

Lori is survived by her husband, Emil; her mother, Shirley Weinkauf of Fairwater; a brother, Kevin Weinkauf of Fairwater; a sister, Susan (Jeff) Leahy of Markesan; and by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father and infant daughter, Margaret.

 

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 13 at 12:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, the Rev. Bryan Fritsch officiating.  Interment was in Fairwater Cemetery in Fairwater.
