Laura Rose Ragenoski, age 82 of Berlin, died peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
She was born September 5, 1929 in Ripon, WI. She was the daughter of Walter and Ida Steinberg Ninneman. She was a 1947 graduate of Ripon High School. On February 14, 1953 she was united in marriage to Raymond Ragenoski at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Laura worked at Admanco in Ripon as a sewer and inspector. She retired after 35 years of employment from Midwestern Sport Togs. Laura was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality, and Green Lake County TRIAD.
She also volunteered at CHN and the Berlin Senior Center. Laura loved to garden,
crochet, and knit. She was a good cook and avid Packers fan, but most loved being with
her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary (“Shawn”) Ragenoski-Campbell of Oshkosh;
her son, Dennis (Melissa) Ragenoski of Reedsburg; 4 grandchildren, Brian Ragenoski,
Tianni Campbell, Lynsey Ragenoski, and Emme Ragenoski; and 3 sisters-in-law, Grace
(Harold) Resop of Berlin, Esther Ninneman of Ripon, and Lucille Ninneman of Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray on September 21, 1991; her parents;
and brothers and sisters, Marie, Alice, Freida, Paul, Robert, Harry, Les, and Louella.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 24 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints
Catholic Church in Berlin, the Rev. Jerome Maksvytis and Rev. Dan Viertel officiating.
Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Berlin. The family will receive friends and
relatives at Barbola Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and
from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday morning. The Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at
6:45 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerome Maksvytis officiating. Arrangements
have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel.
