Janet G. Parsons, age 82 of Berlin, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

 

She was born March 6, 1929 in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Walter and Adella Juedes Wachholz.  On April 30, 1949, she was united in marriage to Kendall C. Parsons at First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.

 

Janet was a super homemaker.  She had a big heart and was a very talkative person.  She always wore a smile and will be missed by her family and friends.  Janet was a member of Grace English Lutheran church and the G.L.C.W.

 

Surviving are her children Bonnie (Roland) Holdorf of WI Rapids, Douglas (Dawn) Parsons of Apple Valley, MN, and Wendy (Roger) Robinson of Oshkosh; six grandchildren Tobin (Ann) Holdorf, Travis (Lisa) Holdorf, Tory Parsons, Aaron Parsons, Tyler Robinson and Lindsey Robinson; four great-grandchildren Skyler, Brayden, McKayla, and Kylie; her brother Marvin (Jean) Krueger; and niece Pat Glatz.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kendall on Feb. 20, 2004; a grandson Keegan; and her sister Dorothy Waite.

 

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 25 at 12:00 noon at Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin, the Rev. Rick Engen officiating.  Interment was in Welsh Cemetery in the Town of Aurora. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel.
