Dora L. “Toodie” Fredrick, age 94 of Berlin, died peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Preston Place in Redgranite.
Toodie was born December 27, 1916 in the Township of Aurora in Waushara County, WI. She was the daughter of John and Anna Braun Bahr. On September 25, 1943 she was united in marriage to Albert Fredrick.
She and her husband operated a dairy farm east of Berlin for many years. For over 25 years, Toodie was a school bus driver for Mascoutin Transportation. She was a Charter Member of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin.
Toodie is survived by her two sons, Bruce of Tinley Park, IL and Keith (Kathy) of Berlin; five
grandchildren, Sean (Jen), Nicholas, Ashley (fiancé Zach Johnson), Jenna, and Brooke;
and 2 great-grandchildren, Madison and Colin. She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband on September 30, 2004; one son, Douglas; and brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace English
Lutheran Church in Berlin, the Rev. Scott Piper officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood
Cemetery in Berlin. The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:30 a.m. until the
time of services at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral
Chapel.
