Mildred Schram

     

    Mildred Schram, age 96, of the Township of Berlin, was taken to her heavenly home, cradled in the arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Berlin Memorial Hospital.

     

    She was born September 6, 1916 in the Town of Warren in Waushara County, WI, the daughter of Edward and Ella Tews Schroeder. She attended Berlin High School. On June 3, 1939, she was
    united in marriage to Victor G. Schram at Grace Lutheran Church.

    The Schrams have owned and operated a farm south of Berlin for many years. They raised beef
    and dairy cattle, grew grain, and were always well known for their Strawberry Farm. She and her
    husband were members of the Nepeuskun Anti-Horse Thieves Association, she loved to garden, and
    tie quilts. Mildred is the last of the Charter Members of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin.

     

    She is survived by two sons; Richard (Charlotte) Schram and Dennis Schram, both residing on the
    family farm; her daughter, Diane (Don) Timm of Green Lake; daughter-in-law Candice Schram; ten
    grandchildren, Debbie Schram, Shari Zulke, Krista Wilson, Candie (Doug) Strebelinski, Corey (Jenny)
    Schram, Ken (Heather) Schram, Aaron (Ashley) Schram, Angie (Greg) Wentz, Denise Nelson, and
    Lisa Schram; ten great-grandchildren, Jay (Emily) Wilson, Rhonda Wilson, Josh Strebelinski, Callyn
    Strebelinski, Sammi Nelson, Evan Ewald, Thomas Schram, Lilly Schram, Alexander Schram, and
    Bridget Schram; two great-great-grandchildren, Ahzayla and Cora; one sister, Velda Jones of GA; and
    nieces and nephews.

     

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor on March 5, 2002; a son, Edward
    Schram; sister, Pearl Beane; daughter-in-law, Renee Yeska Schram; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-
    law; and grandson-in-law, Paul Wilson.

     

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace English Lutheran
    Church in Berlin, the Rev. Scott Piper officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin.
    Friends and relatives may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
    Memorials may be given to Grace English Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to
    Barbola Funeral Chapel.
