Carolyn Rodensal

     

    Carolyn Polk Rodensal, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013.  Carolyn was born to Arthur & Clara Blank Polk on May 6, 1934 in Big Falls, WI. All ten children were born in the same house at Big Falls. Carolyn was baptized at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Big Falls and was confirmed and married at St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin. 

She married Bernard Rodensal on June 11, 1955.  They were blessed with two children, Barry (Gloria) Rodensal of

Berlin and Kim (Rodney) Lehr of Redgranite.

 

Carolyn is further survived by three grandchildren, Cole (Kristie) Lehr of Redgranite, Lindsay Lehr of Port Washington,

and Staff Sgt. Brittney Lehr of Edwards A.F.B. in CA; five sisters and two brothers, Lil Kretzmann of Berlin, Doris

(Harold) Jesse of Neenah, Wilfird “Bud” (Carolyn) Polk of Berlin, Elaine Mueller of Athens, Art (Barbara) Polk of

Westfield, Ellen (Richard) Czech of Athens, Faith (Don) Gatzke of Green Valley, AZ.; a sister-in-law Carol Polk of

Montello;Brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Rodensal, Spencer (Joyce) Rodensal, Karene (Bob) Jezwinski, and

Robin (Russ) Henriksen, all of Berlin; many nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two

brothers, Wally Polk and Bob Polk; brother-in-law, Norman Kretzmann; niece, Barbara Kretzmann Bates; brother-in-law

Martin Mueller; nephew, Andy Polk; and her Godparents, Esther Giese and Carl Blank.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, the Rev. Bryan G.

Lundquist officiating.  A private family interment service will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive

friends and relatives on Thursday, June 20 at Barbola Funeral Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also at the
