Maria E. “Elena” Melchor, age 45, of Berlin, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 26, 2014 at her home.
She was born August 18, 1969 in Berlin, the daughter of Mateo and Francisca Aguayo Melchor. Elena
attended Ripon and Waupun Schools. She worked for Fox River Industries and participated in Special Olympics Bowling.
Elena is survived by her mother, Francisca; siblings, Antonio Melchor, Teresa Melchor, Victor (Rita)
Melchor, Rosa (Rafael) Ortega and Gabriel Melchor; and nieces, nephews and friends. She was
preceded in death by her father, Mateo, on September 20, 2008.
Friends and relatives may call on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Barbola
Funeral Chapel in Berlin. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. with Sister Pat Flanigan officiating.
Interment will be on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin. Online condolences
