William T. Krause, age 64, passed away after a brief illness relating to pancreatic cancer on Saturday,

December 27, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh with his family by his side.

He was born November 15, 1950 in Berlin, the son of Burton and Joan Helmuth Krause. William

graduated from St. Joseph Catholic Graded School, Berlin High School in 1968 and UW-Oshkosh.

William worked at Younkers for 38 years in Oshkosh, Madison and Green Bay as a Warehouse

Distribution Center Supervisor. He was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and a twenty year season

ticket holder for Green Bay Phoenix Women’s Basketball. William enjoyed going to watch his nieces

and nephews play in sporting activities, going on vacation with John Radue and family and playing

cards with his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Joan; brother, DeWayne (Diana) Krause; sister, Paula (Tom) Tritt; and

nieces and nephews, Bobbi (Dan) Leben, Jeff (Chris) Tritt, Kasi (Scott) Ludwig, and Mike (Abby) Tritt;

great-nieces and nephews, Harrison and Gilson Leben, Haleigh and Mallory Tritt, Addison, Rilee and

Brynli Ludwig and Samuel Tritt; very good friend, John Radue; and other relatives and friends. He

was preceded in death by his father, Burton, in 1998; his grandparents, Charles and Charlotte

Helmuth and Elmer and Catherine Krause; and great-nephew, Dylan Tritt.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin,

the Rev. Michael Warden officiating. Interment will be in Eureka Cemetery. Friends and relatives

may call on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Online condolences may be
