Kathy W. Hatch
Kathy Williams Hatch, age 79, of Berlin, died peacefully at home on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
She was born November 19, 1943, in Columbus, OH, the daughter of Victor and Sylvia Walker Williams. Kathy was a 1960 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School in Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University and Master of Arts degree in Counseling from UW-Oshkosh. On June 19, 1966, she was united in marriage to Theron “Ted” Hatch in Columbus, Ohio.
Kathy worked for ThedaCare for many years as an AODA & Mental Health Counselor.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Dana) Hatch; two grandchildren, Kia (Josh) Carter and Tegan Hatch; three great-grandchildren, Crystal Burke, and Farron and Clariel Carter; brother, Jack (Sue) Williams; and brother-in-law, Fred (Deborah) Sperry. She was preceded in death by her husband, “Ted” on September 24,1996; son, Jonathan Hatch on December 20, 2022; and sister, Vicki Sperry.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 19, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
