Donald J. Disotell
Donald John Disotell, age 74, of Oshkosh, formerly of Berlin, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Centennial Inn in Oshkosh.
He was born December 6, 1949, in Berlin, WI, the son of Oliver and Rita Drover Disotell. Don was a 1969 graduate of Berlin High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ripon College.
John worked for Oshkosh Truck Corporation and Bergstrom Automotive. He was a member of the P.M. Ripon Rotary Club and served as a past Program Chairman. Don was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin.
He is survived by his cousins, Dan Viertel and Vicki Viertel-Kanirash; great-niece, Nichole Disotell Burns; great-nephew, Todd Disotell; and special friends, David (Eileen) Cole. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Disotell; father, Oliver Disotell; and stepmother, Katherine Disotell.
Graveside services with interment will be held on Friday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m., at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin, with Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin.
