Kelly M. Boening
Kelly Marie Boening, age 46, of Green Lake, died peacefully at home on Monday, December 4, 2023.
She was born November 14, 1977, in Berlin, the daughter of Gary and Marjorie Rowland Boening. Kelly was a 1996 graduate of Berlin High School. On June 19, 2016, she was united in marriage to Chad Phillips in their back yard in Oshkosh.
In addition to being a full-time mother, Kelly worked in food service at Ripon College. She also had worked at Quad Graphics and was a familiar face bartending at various establishments. Kelly was a member of Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin.
She is survived by her husband, Chad Phillips; daughter, Allison; bonus children, Mack and Hazel; father, Gary (Jacilyn) Boening; sister, Robin (Mark) Vander Zanden; brother, Derek Boening; and nephews, Alex & Ethan Brunke, Payton, Sully & Spencer Boening, and Dylan & Ethan Phillips. Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Boening; maternal & paternal grandparents; and brother-in-law, Rob Brunke.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 13, at 11:00 a.m., at Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin, Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiating. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, and on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the services.
