Anthony R. Geier
Anthony Raymond “Tony” Geier, age 69, of Pine River, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
He was born September 1, 1953, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Harold and Dolores Jonen Geier. Tony was a 1971 graduate of North Division High School in Milwaukee. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.
During his college years, Tony worked for the DNR, before becoming a technician at Western Electric. He was a gun collector who enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially trap shooting with his clubs in Waupaca, Wild Rose and Wautoma.
He is survived by his cousins, Dennis (Kathy) Geier, Mary (Joe) Burke, Tom (Kathy) Burke, David Burke and Lola Burke; nephew, Jason Geier; and his canine companion, Harold. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Geier; and nephew, Charles Geier.
